The Disciples of Nowhere is an indie band that creates and adapts its own music to different genres to show all the beautiful sides of music. The band was first formed in 2014 by Jack and Olivia at the end of their A levels together. The idea of the band was simple, create good music. Transitioning into university is where they met the final completing member for their band, Owen. After jamming in several studios on campus the band decided to take to the streets of Sheffield and busk, after the overwhelming response from the crowds the three friends decided to take their idea to the next level and start producing their own original music; as any musician will know this is a lot easier said than done.
After months of work The Disciples of Nowhere were ready and had 4 songs prepped and rehearsed down to a tee. On the 6th of June 2015 the band got their first gig at the Viper rooms in Sheffield, after their huge success TDON still continue to frequently play at the Viper rooms to this day. After gigging around for a few months on weekends, the group had been booked at Pop Tarts for a half hour gig. Once finishing another great performance a man called Jake Coldham approached the band and offered them a record deal for their starting album at Off the wall records. The band are due to release their new album on the 26th of Febuary.
